Medical Laboratory Science Major (BS): Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Option

Take 24 credits in an affiliated clinical laboratory. Please note that meeting or exceeding the requirements for eligibility to apply for the clinical practicum does not guarantee placement. Two or more years full-time work experience as a board-certified and/or State licensed Medical Laboratory Technician may earn Prior Learning credit applied to Clinical Practicum 1 requirement. Work with the CLS Program Director for Prior Learning Assessment.
